A View of the Newly Renovated Henne Field

Much progress has been made on the renovation of this treasured community resource, as you can see from the above photo. A walking path, parking lots, two ball fields, grass, and some landscaping have been installed.

Other items to be completed this summer are benches, which are being donated by the Saline Rotarians, and a large clock, decorative lighting. and other electrical components.

We are still seeking donations for the installation of playground equipment, additional pathway lighting, and exercise stations. Donate now »

Please contact David Rhoads at 734-216-1631 to assist with any of the unfinished items or to provide input on other ideas.

Fundraising to date

The Friends of Henne Field have been busy raising money for the past year so work on the park's redevelopment could begin. We have raised about half of the funds needed to complete the project. Now we hope that when residents of the greater Saline area see the work in progress, both in-kind and monetary assistance will be forthcoming.
